POLICY · IN EFFECT · UPDATED OCTOBER 10, 2026
Terms of Use
The terms for reading The Human Deprecation Report, participating in its community, and submitting work.
Effective date and scope
These policies take effect when published on the public website. Last updated October 10, 2026.
These terms apply to the public newspaper, discussion board, polls, article submissions, contact form, and links provided by The Human Deprecation Report. By using the site, you agree to follow these terms and the Community Guidelines.
Satire, reporting, and general information
Human Deprecation Notices are fictional satire. Field Notes, AI Accountability Watch, and AI News link to external source material and identify their editorial framing. Opinions, forecasts, countdowns, polls, and general information are not professional advice or a substitute for independent judgment.
External links lead to third-party sites. The Report does not control those sites or endorse every linked view. Its link desks display publisher headlines, source names, dates, and links, not copied article bodies, RSS excerpts, or social-post text.
Accounts and participation
Reading public pages does not require an account. Posting, replying, voting, changing a public handle, and submitting an article require a signed-in account.
A public handle appears beside community contributions. Your account identity is separate from your public handle. Do not impersonate another person, share account access, or use the community to collect personal data from others.
Community content and moderation
The discussion board accepts text only. Image attachments are not allowed. Profanity and sexual text may be quietly sanitized when saved. Moderators may hide content, close polls, or limit participation when content violates the Community Guidelines or presents a credible safety, privacy, or integrity concern.
Submit only material you have the right to share. Do not post confidential information, doxxing material, unlawful threats, targeted harassment, spam, malware links, or content that deliberately confuses satire with reported fact.
Posts and article submissions
You retain ownership of your original community posts. By posting, you allow the Report to host, display, and transmit that text with the public handle you selected so the community can function.
Article submissions enter editorial review. Submitting a draft does not guarantee publication, compensation, or editorial acceptance. You retain ownership of submitted work and authorize the Report to review it. The Report will obtain separate permission before publicly publishing an accepted submission. Editors may request clarification, edit for accuracy or style with permission, decline a submission, or retain it in review.
Submitters should distinguish sourced claims, opinion, forecasts, and fictional writing. Any source URL supplied with a submission should identify its original source.
Polls
Polls are informal community ballots, not representative research or expert consensus. One signed-in account may cast one vote per open poll. Results can reflect only the participating accounts and the available choices.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. For questions about these terms, corrections, privacy requests, moderation, or appeals, email legion@outputcollective.com.
